This was over a week ago - snow in Vegas

Brynn and Lex were pirates, Kate was a doctor and Meg was Kate's patient.

Meg couldn't make staying up for the carvings.

Brynn placed 2nd and Kate won 1st place for their poem's and pumpkin carvings at school!

We guess Lex figured that is was safer to put stuffed animals in the hamster ball instead of the taking a chance of getting a little nip on the finger again.

Kate starts Kindergarten and Brynn is back to school for 2nd grade! (Mom sings it's the most wonderful time of the year)

Of course Lex had to grab his backpack and think that he is going to school too!

One might not think this picture is AS cute if it is known that their Mom made them walk down the sidewalk holding hands to pose for the picture.

Kate just latched on to this girl at the bus stop.

When one door closes...

One evening Dad gets a phone call at work about the pet fish. On the phone he hears crying, then "Dad, Bubbles died!" Some more crying occurs and then instantly the crying stops followed by, "Dad, can we get a hamster?" A few days later someone left a hamster in its cage in the Wal-Mart parking lot with a sign on it "free to a good home." The employee that found it didn't want it, but felt bad for it sitting out in the heat. Bryan reluctantly said he would take it. Surprisingly, it has been a great pet and the kids have loved it. Hopefully Lex has learned his lesson and will be a little more gentle after being bit on the finger at 6 AM the other day! Lex's parents loved waking up that early to a crying kid and a little blood spot trail up the stairs. Fortunately a band-aid was all that was needed.

Lex is now potty trained and insists on getting dressed by himself; but as seen in the picture, he has a hard time figuring out which way to put on his shorts!

Kate turns 5!

Kate had a birthday party inviting 14 kids (each around 5) for 2 hours! Mom was going nuts! She said, "NEVER AGAIN!"

These kids make us laugh - a lot!

The kids were out swimming (what else can you do outside when it's 110) and Mom made chocolate frosting graham cracker sandwiches. Meg took hers apart like she does all her sandwiches and made a mess. When she saw the camera out, she had to say cheese (top picture). We are excited for her to officially start nursery on the 20th of this month!

Lex turns 3 years old!

Lex turned 3 on June 26th. We went to Peter Piper Pizza as a family and then came home for cake and ice cream. Lex also barely made it as a 2 year old of going on the potty for the first time (following his older brother's example of standing, we are still working on the sitting part - poor Mom! (Dad hasn't had any of that clean up assignment yet) but, we are excited for progress).

Even though Lex's eyes are closed and Kate is so cheesy her eyes are closed, this is the best picture of many taken. In the other pictures Lex was rubbing his eye from Kate smiling even cheesier (yes, even cheesier!), etc....

Moriya's family had a gathering for our new nephew and cousin (Zeb and Daisy's). The only decent family picture for everyone else, Moriya had to put Meg in front of her (there in the middle)!

Brynn gets to play in snow again!

Brynn was so excited about the snow while visiting Grandpa and Grandma in Elko that he decided to make a little snow man!

After visiting Kas & Trav in Texas, we headed to Juarez, Mexico to visit Zeb (we felt bad we missed Daisy & kids, but Daisy was in Utah, waiting for new baby). These pictures were taken on the Juarez temple grounds. The temple and grounds were beautiful, but visiting Juarez was a good reminder that we are thankful for where we live!

Don't Mess With Texas!

After two days on the road we made it to Texas! We had a great visit with the Lybberts! We got to meet Asher for the first time! What a cutie! Kas and Trav showed us a great time! A vacation I'm sure we will never forget! It was really fun! What a beautiful place... Thanks for the memories...Kas, Trav and Asher!
